while the fury of the miles davis quartet is unrivaled, or the plaintive guitar of mississippi fred mcdowell can bring a tear to your eye, and the sheer brutality of the first four black sabbath albums can validate your most petty, yet righteous hate trips, and the sorrow in even the happiest of cat steven's songs only reminds me that there is something very severely lacking in today's music. i mean come on, you people actually listen to the postal service and get something out of it? atreyu is heavy? try some jesuit or old man gloom, and if that's too new for you try crossed out. oh, i know, all the tech stuff has been done so i'll just tune my bass as low as it can go and strum it through some effects pedals (i'm looking in your general direction sunn o))))
please.
