i have a garden!
mick and i installed an irrigation system in the back yard today. we dug out a channel, layed plastic drip tubing and glued it all together with shish kabob skewers. we're growing 3 different kinds of tomatos, cucumbers, habanero peppers, all colors of bell peppers, and corn.
tomorrow before work i'm going to plant snow peas, black beans, grapes, artichokes, and maybe some strawberries. i want to grow asparagus too, but it's hard to grow and takes 3 years to get any that are actually edible and that makes me sad. i want it to be autumn now so i can eat everything all at once and become some weird charicature of the jolly green giant and santa claus.
i'll also be going to the post office tomorrow, so some of you may be lucky enough to receive a package. (colin, i'm looking in your general direction.) if anyone would like one as well please contact me at your earliest convenience with contact details. packages are likely to include fresh wormwood, cd's, love, and suprises.
