The Middle Flint Regional Development Center in Americus Georgia has a position available for the Director of the Workforce Investment Board. They are seeking candidates with a Bachelor degree and experience with workforce development and federal programs and regulations.
DIRECTOR FOR WORK FORCE INVESTMENT DIVISION- Middle Flint Regional Development Center. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job related experience required. Ability to learn and follow required federal and state program regulations. Must handle and be knowledgeable of personnel management, program management, fiscal management and computer operations. Will be responsible for contracting, planning, supervision, grant writing and budgeting. Must be able to work with advisory boards, local and state officials, subcontractors, service providers, the unemployed, economically disadvantaged, and youth in an (8) county region.
