Piece By Piece
Stress is slowly (but surely) taking over my entire being. If I have to hang one more streamer I'm going to start fearing for my mental stability ;)
The dance committee (see: me, Liberty, Alex, Heather, Darcy, Kendra and Nate) did some basic set-up today, and the 2-hour process turned into a day-long ordeal for me. Everyone left by hour 3, but I was stuck there alone, promising everyone I'd get the essentials finished. And I did.
The good thing about stress is that when it's over the feeling of accomplishment rushes in even stronger. I'm waiting desperately for that feeling.
Now for the smaller, but definitely more interesting part of my day. I decided to go downtown to buy Papa's birthday gift, and I picked up a nice hat and Italia soccer jersey. But I finished early, so out of sheer boredom I headed to Boys Town. And I walk into this store called Diverse Universe for this rainbow thumbring I saw in the window, and guess who walked in. That new grade 10, Trevor. Seven jeans boy. I didn't make eye-contact because I'm pathetic. He seemed to leave in a hurry, not buying anything.
I bought the ring, but the information I got there totally out-values any jewelry. This is exciting. I have a crush on someone who's actually gay. It's like the second time in my whole life. I'm so excited to see him at the semi-formal Monday :D Ciao!
