HEY MAN, I'M ON A ROAD TRIP.
we set off for san francisco @4pm today, and got as far as portland before having to stop for snacks. surprise. ran into a gorgeous young man i used to know fairly well and got a particularly affectionate hug, which took me right back to the good old days of drinkin' and druggin' in the city of roses. god i love that town. now we're in a plain yet cool (temp) travelodge room in grants pass, where we will eat left over lebanese food and forget for a brief minute that beirut's getting bombed back to the stone age. tomorrow, the redwoods! athena's birthday party!!
