Because a Paladin never goes back on his promise!

Here are the answers to the questions
kumir_k9 asked me!

Under the cut are the answers, because I kinda got a little carried away ^^;

1. "Few men are willing to brave the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a world which yields most painfully to change." Why did you choose this for your profile page?

Never before has just common morality been so....well....unpopular nowadays. In todays society rebellion against traditionalism is the norm. . .the rebel, the gangster, the affluent preppy, . . .these are just samples of what is considered "cool" in todays society. If one tried to speak out against the apparent and blatent wrongs in the MTV generation, one would typically be ostracized by their peers. . . its happened to me. I have that quote there to remind me to keep up the faith and try to make this country a better place. I slip up sometimes, but errare humanum est

2. What made you choose your current course of studies?
Right now, I changed my major from microbiology to epidemeology. Halfway through my Sophmore year, I realized that the cells themselves weren't what I was really interested in. . . It was more about keeping people healthy and the detective work of whose spreading those bad cells around. I'll have to suck an extra semester, but it wont break me. . . yet. :)

3. Where do you see yourself in 10 years, personally and professionally?

I promised myself I would never imagine myself 10 years into the future personally, because then I would be restraining myself to something I might surpass. Professionally, I hope to achieve my masters and maybe settle for a decent job. I'll still be Larping! well, hopefully there will still be games around. . .LARPing will need an infusion of youngblood fast or it might not survive the next 10-20 years. . .but thats just my opinion.

4. You recently indicated your LARPness was back on track. What had derailed it to begin with?

It sounds silly, but my characters are tiny extensions of my personality. Its how I can keep 2 characters apart in my head. Ithen was having a rough time on his current path in Madrigal, but with new starts come new opportunities, and things are doing much, much better now. all is right again in my head. . .save for a Lich King, Banshee Queen, Wraith Lord, Warpers, Artificers and post-apocalyptic neaderthals waiting to rip it off, but IIm doin' just fine. :)

-It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power. -Allen Cohen

5. If you personally were a D&D character, what would you rate your attributes (intelligence, wisdom, etc)?

This is a very, very good question!

15 Int (its what gets me through college)
14 Wis (Im a bit wiser for my years)
12 Cha (Ive been told I have moxie, but not my best stat. Working on it, though.)

Equipment:

Boffer Shield
Tough Denim Jeans +1
Shirt of Invisibility +2

And thats all the questions!  I hope they helped you get to know me a bit better,
kumir_k9 ! :)
