After a "rousing" conversation with "Alex" in "an American call center," I have submitted my xbawks for repair. I'll be without it for a couple of weeks or so. No big deal. I can always plug in the loaner from Bailey and swap hard drives to play games I want to play.
It's a pain in the ass, however, and it pisses me off that within one week of having the console, it needs to be repaired because the wireless controller in the console is already flaking out like nobody's business.
I have a few other tests to take care of at JRR's house tonight to double check the integrity of the console, but I'm guessing nothing there will change the diagnosis.
