interview :O

so anyway, i put in a couple applications this morning, and then i emailed someone from a staffing agency that a friend uses and suggested. like 30 mins after the email was sent I get a call saying they might have a job and to come in at 2. so i get all spiffy and head out and it turns out the job isn't really suited to me but i did my staffing agency interview, filled out forms, talked a bit about what im looking for, and then took some tests. Had to do the office suite, word/excel/powerpoint/access. 30 steps for each program of a bunch of things you need to know how to do. Access is the one program Ive never used and its what i scored worst on, getting an 80 on it which is still perfectly capable. Then did a typing test, i guessed i would be around 60 maybe 65 wpm since i was about 55 in high school. turns out i can type 80 wpm, i actually typed 81 wpm over the course of 5 mins but I had one error. They also did spelling and language comprehension tests which i guess i did well on because i was then introduced to a few of the people who work there and they were all commenting on my test scores.

so anyway hopefully that helps with the job hunt, and i keep putting in applications and im still hoping to hear back from that company that said they were gonna put out calls this week for interviews after i did some prescreening on the phone.

Im tired, didn't sleep, was like 10am when i finished sending out the emails and then i got the call at 1030 so didn't really have time to go to sleep.

the new decemberists is pretty good, im loving the new matches and the new evanescence is pretty crap imho.
