Day 35. Took another quiet day until it was time to head to the dentist. There was a bit of nervousness because we couldn't find the office. We wandered around for a while asking people until we finally saw it and got there a few minutes before my appointment.

The whole "speaks some English" thing? Not so much. I was so happy to have Karo along with me to translate. I got the paperwork filled out and were into to see the dentist, Maria Teresa Molinero Guerrero, in no time.

She is a very nice woman with, I came to realize, extremely high standards. She has a very easy touch and I'm sure is very popular with her regular patients. I would have no problem going back to her, even with the language barrier.

She spent a few minutes talking with me (through Karo), then inspected the area. She quickly ascertained that the damage was worse than I thought, and we agreed that she would do a best effort job at a temporarily resetting the teeth in place and cementing them there. Then she took quite a bit of time to try to clear my bite as best she could.

She did a pretty amazing job considering, and I paid (EUR 50, about USD 65) and we left. After that we did a few errands, then headed back here. I watched the 49ers lose their game, Rob and I did a grocery run, and we had dinner. Then we settled in to watch the rest of the chapters of the Captain America serial. Now it's time for bed.
