Day 30. I got up this morning and headed into Granada with Rob who was going to a doctor appointment. He dropped me off near where I would catch the bus to come home, and from there I walked.
I have no idea how much I walked today, but it was a lot. I saw a lot of places and visited a lot of little shops. I did find a replacement cord for the charger for Kathy's laptop so she will have a proper power source for it in Germany. I stopped at a tourist information booth and got a map, which helped a lot in the rest of my wanderings. Through it all I only got lost once, and that was because I got a little disoriented in one location and took off in the wrong direction. But I found where I was on the map and was good after that.
At one point I stopped at a little shop that sold various kinds of fast food and got a double lamb hamburger which was delicious. It definitely got me through the rest of the day. Then off to find the bus and head home.
The bus took me on a less than direct route, but I got to see a few towns in the area and saw more of the Spanish countryside. I managed to spot my stop in time to get off there and walk back to the house.
After some rest, I headed off one more time to hit the local grocery store and bring back a few more supplies for us. I made sandwiches for Kathy and me for dinner as Rob and Karo were off for the evening. After they got back and had settled a bit, Rob and I went to Meson JR for a nightcap.
We had some beers and some tapas. When I bit into one of the tapas, my two front crowns popped out. They are a single unit, and it looks like they and the stubs they were attached to are still good, so after a quick consultation with my dentist via a Skype call, tomorrow we are going to call Rob's dentist and see about getting them cemented back on.
I think that's quite enough for one day.
