Douglas Hill, 1935-2007
Douglas Hill was killed on thursday, 21 June 2007, when he was hit by a double decker in Wood Green.
I am sad for his loss to the world as I think he was an amazing author, have done since I was a kid.
I am also sad that in his death I found out he lived in North London. If I had known, I would have tried to find him and tell him how an amazing author he was.
If only found out while I was looking at his wikipedia entry and then it took me 20 min to find an record of the incident on the net.
And if you tell me that you knew he was that side of the world, I will smack you for not telling me sooner!
