Running commentary
Thursday left home and ladydchaos behind, headed to work and there after the airport. Then the bloody flight - I should be thankful for an ailse seat even if I was very uncomfortable.
Friday landed and spent day with family. Evening had a braai with the two Shanes to plan stuff for the Bachelors and also have a general catchup. Gossie's got 2 dachshunds - they're cute.
Saturday was a minor rush. Met Cris for breakfast and a bout of arcade games before heading to Antz for a drink and chit chat. Got to see her dress for the wedding what with her my partnet for the event (Even though I only get to spend time with her from about half way through the reception) After that met the one Shane and picked Brenton up to get the cup plaster of parised to his hand. Spent the evening at a pub making him drunk and giving him silly tasks to do. Had a brain wave - if I ever need to pick up women again I'm going to throw a mock bachelor's party for myself.
Sunday went to paintball with Cris and Terry. Some interesting bruises came out of the games. Especially what looks like a hicky on my neck: one shot from about 2-3 metres...I was impressed. After that played in a Exalted game...way too much powers being thrown around for my liking. Then to the kirk with the parents...was okay. Also chatted to ladydchaos for a while after getting home.
Today was a trip to the dentist, some book shopping and now killing time until I meet Brenton for a bout of arcade games at N1 City...something we used to do at least once a month and haven't since he left 3 years ago. After the wedding I don't think we'll be doing it for a lo-ong time either. Shit thing is: I have to stop eating at 7pm tonight as I'm having a blood test done tomorrow - what fun.
And now I must fill out some forms and head home.
