Oh, look.

Who's that by the Bar?

He hasn't seen Villiers yet.

He looks deeply self-satisfied.

For once, then, it seems that Villiers notices Hannibal first, rather than the other way around.

But he's not going to get up, no. He only just got settled with something resembling comfort, and he's not going to ruin that.

He also closes his eyes, because in all honesty, he doesn't know what to do anymore. He's marked and owned, and somehow that's deeply comforting.

Those closed eyes are too much of a temptation.

Here, Villiers.

After an interval of calm silence, cold fingers creeping across the back of your neck.

He almost starts, but keeps still, instead leaning ever so slightly into that touch despite himself.

Just breathe in, breathe out. Simplicity is key. Ignore the way your heart jumps at those cold fingers, and you'll do fine.

His fingertips are over Villiers' pulse, again.

So useful, that.

It lets him smirk at the sudden acceleration, give just a little more pressure, and tug him to his feet without a word.

Alas, there's no tea to abandon this time.

Well, at least the tea has smartened up. No longer shall it be abandoned!

...hopefully.

When he's tugged up, Villiers follows easily, and leans in against Hannibal. It's almost intimate, the way he moves, even though it's laced with the slightest slick tension.

Because there's a connection, there. Getting fucked with your own pistol and coming from the pleasure of it is a strangely bond-forming act.

That's one of those sentences you never think you'll say until you do.

Also, Hannibal is smirking at every subtle sign of aftereffects Villiers displays.

And those varyingly subtle signs range from outright winces as he moves to the way he looks more distant and lost as time goes on.

"...morning," he says eventually.

"Good morning, Villiers."

It's politeness today, apparently.

He keeps mostly silent -- and when he speaks, mostly quiet -- maybe he's damaged, a little. But not beyond repair.

"You seem...well, today."

And despite the damage, Villiers seems oddly at peace.

"As do you."

Part mockery, part appreciation.

"My Glock won't thank you for that treatment," he murmurs, partly amused, partly embarrassed.

And look! It's still there, at his side.

It seems that Villiers will never learn.

"But you will."

And in a twisted sort of way Hannibal seeks that approval.

Villiers goes deathly quiet, eyes averted.

It lasts for a few moments. Then, tilting his head down those few needed inches, he catches Hannibal in a slow, sweet kiss of benediction and, undoubtedly, thanks.

In a twisted way, Villiers really means it.

They halt at the bottom of the stairs while Hannibal shows Villiers just how much he appreciates that gratitude.

It takes a while.

Cold and calm and perfect, Hannibal wraps his arms around Villiers' waist and kisses the life out of him.

Eventually, when he lets go: "Meet me in your room."

Their lips brush as he speaks, held so close.

"I've a few things to take care of."

It's good.

And yes. There's a reason why he stayed.

In thrall, completely and totally, and he eases into that kiss. Already, it's starting to feel familiar, and he wants to be possessed, he wants to be exhibited for all the world to see as Hannibal's fucktoy.

"I-"

He swallows; regroups.

"I will."

...this does not bode well for Villiers.
