Reading, on the couch, is one of Villiers' favourite activities.
Even more so, now, that he has the perfect cuddlepartner when doing so.
"Ode 22," he reads. And smiles.

And he reads:

Villiers sits on the couch, watching the latest Doctor Who.
Because in the end, he's still a sci-fi fan.

His shirt is buttoned three short of the top, and slightly rumpled.
There are grass stains on his trousers.

And then, a raised eyebrow at Imriel's appearance.
The TV gets switched off, and now there's a Villiers walking towards him. Tsking, amusedly.
"Well, now, what do we have here..."

"I went for a walk," he mumbles, stepping forward to give Villiers an extraordinarily thorough kiss hello.

And mm, kiss. But that isn't going to distract him from-
He pulls back. "You slept with someone," he says with a playful grin. Then, nose buried against his shoulder: "a woman."
Villiers is inexplicably amused.

"And who was the lucky lady?" he murmurs, nibbling an ear. Not jealous -- it's actually a little reassuring to know that he's not the only one sleeping around.

Imriel very clearly thinks kissing Villiers is more important than talking about his nameless (if wonderful) one-night stands.

But alas, he succumbs quite easily to kisses. For they are good things.
Already, he has his arms wrapped around him, warm and welcoming.

"Introduced herself as the Lady San'Merci," he adds idly in a pause for breath.

"La Belle Dame Sans Merci," he murmurs, suddenly fascinated.
"You shagged a woman from one of the most famous poems in history?"

"Mayhap."

For his part, he's mostly glad that Imriel is still here, still obviously his, and not at all like cold and ragged knights.

"I can't say wanting is the word," he murmurs, thoughtfully.
It would imply dissatisfaction. There is certainly no dissatisfaction here.

"A worthy pursuit, then?"
An arm, twined around his waist, to pull Imriel close, and towards the couch.

"Perhaps I ought to introduce you, hmmn?"
