Cricket
Hi Everyone,
Business was ok, today, nothing heaps exciting a little slow, but an important day none the less.
It was rather hot today, but anyway, what I was mainly looking forward to today was cricket, and I was not dissapointed.
We played indoor cricket tonight, and we conquered.
I got there early this evening, about 30 mins early prior to our game, this game me a chance to sit down and think, and also gave me a chance to carefully examine the other teams that we play and often lose to.
Tonight we were playing a team which we beat once, and lost against once, The first time we won against them it was pretty convcing, the second time it was a small loss.
I came tonight fully prepared, with circket strategies etc, I fully drawed up these cool diagrams etc.
Didn't use them. lol, however, it was only because we didn't have our usual full team, a couple of our reserves played and generally speaking these reserves were going to fill the necessary gaps that needed to be filled with the strategy, so the strategy wasen't entirely necessary tonight.
I done up fielding positions etc which already were fufilled in the game, pretty much everyone ended up where they were supposed to be, and key things like having one of our guys, Carl, as the wicket keeper early on, happened regardless, so things fell into place and right from the start I was certian of victory.
Sun Tzu teaches that battles are won and lost before they are actually fought, and before the game started tonight I was already convinced of victory, with that, said, I didn't know we would win by so much!
Everyone played their best tonight, and I think that was the key thing. There wasen't one person in the team tonight that didn't have a game highlight, it was really impressive, and I couldn't be more proud of my team mates.
We really kept their side runless, well, not literally, but their runs were kept extremely low(For those that don't know you lose 5 runs in indoor cricket everytime you get out).
So, what's next, well, there's a Bye next week, then after we play again, we won't have the same composition of players as we did tonight, there will be a couple of changes, but with my strategies and the same morale as tonight, we'll conquer once again.
Just on a side note, my cool new smartphone is on the way, yay! can't wait for that to arrive.
Umm, other that that, I think that's pretty much it, the remainder of the week should be pretty good, with that said, I can't think of anything tooo exciting that will happen but none the less it should be fun.
