Last night I went to see Penn & Teller and I was one row away from the stage! :D The show was absolutely awesome...both of them are really funny and it's a lot of fun to see how they do some of their magic tricks. After that, I went back to my hotel and tried to figure out if there was anything to do at night but couldn't find anything so I just relaxed in my room.
There was, however, one thing that made my evening a little less enjoyable...
When I was at the Penn & Teller show and I wanted to get a bottle of water so I went to the bar thing inside the theatre and they said they couldn't sell my anything (even a bottle of water!) since I'm not 21 yet. Okay, so, that really didn't overly effect me...I just figured it was a really stupid law. But, after contemplating for like 10 minutes, I finally asked the person sitting in front of me if he'd mind getting me a bottle of water, since I couldn't get it...I basically said, "Excuse me, sir. I am not able to get a bottle of water since I'm not 21..." He interrupted me and was just like, "Can't help you." Ugh. And it wasn't the lack of water that upset me, it was the lack of compassion and just plain arrogance. Oh well.
Later on I'm probably going to go to the pool and just see what else is around...
