So I'm sitting here in my apartment, somewhat board and not quite tired and I remembered that I had this thing, so I figured what the hell and make a post. All in all everything over here across the pond has been great thus far. It was a bit rough at first trying to find a place to live and getting all of the paperwork finished, but now that that's over things are better. Another great thing was that we already got a vacation since I've been here and I got to start the European traveling that I've always wanted to do. The first two countries off my list as of now are England and Holland. I had seen pictures, of course, of Enlgand, esp London, so I knew what to expect there to an extent. But honestly Amsterdam was amazing as well. I can't say that the weather was that great, but it was still a great place to visit, oh and the Dutch language is hillarious to listen too as well, I'm pretty damn sure that it's made up and only a handful of close friends really know what is going on. I flew back into France this past Sunday and got back into the swing of things. The week wasn't too bad. I had one class that was a bit rough, but besides that things were good. My coordinator who is one of the English teachers at my school had myself and the rest of the English department over for dinner on Friday, so that was a lot of fun. One tip if anyone reading this does actually come to France...If anyone poors you a REAL glass of champagne, don't make a Memosa out of it, aparantly that's sacraligious here...oops! Today was fun as well. I hung out downtown all day. Myself, my roommate, and another one of the assistants wandered around and did some shopping, grabbed lunch, went and saw Scoop (a great film), did some more walking, then had dinner. All and all not a bad day. The only dissapointment was coming home to Grey's Anatomy downloaded (well at least what I thought was the new episode) and having it be one of the ones I've already watched - damn it. O well, I'll try again and see if that works better. Well I think that's about it for the time being. Oh, and if anyone reading this wants a postcard sometime from Europe, give me your address and I'll do my best to get one in the mail sometime for ya. Hope all is well for everyone back at home...peace out
