Shit has time flown by
So I really think these last four weeks up here have flown by like no other. I cant believe im gonna be home in 6 days - again holy shit. I have definately had the time of my life up here, and last weekend was definately up there. It started with another party here at the university on friday. That was a hell of a lot of fun. Since we got here once a week we`ve been learning traditional dances and stuff of the regoin, and friday was a traditional quebecois soiree - absolutely hillarious and such a blast. Afterwards a bunch of us went out to the bar and had a good time there.
Sat morn i got a call from one of my friends and he asked me if i wanted to go rafting with a group of people from our school, so that was what i did for the bulk of the day sat. For only $44 canadian we got transportation from school, wet suit rental, three hours on the river with a guide, and a speghetti dinner. When i got back home i ended up goin to a couple of my friends houses and just hangin out and drinkin some beers.
That wasnt such a good idea since sunday morn came awefully fast. I got picked up at 6:25 in the morn to go to school cuz we had our last excursion that day. And damn does 5:45 come fast when you pass out at 1:30...goo. After i got to school i waited here for everyone else to arrive and then we went to a town about 1 hr 30 away from here to go whale watching. I ended up seeing 5 or 6 whales along with some seals and some other things. Then when we got back to shore we had just over an hour to walk around town and do whatever we wanted. So 6 of us ended up going to this little bookmobile about 20 minutes away for the ``best poutine in the world.`` (by the way for those of you that dont know what poutine is it`s french fries with cheese curds and a thin gravy, sounds gross but not too bad) The cook was absolutely hillarious and he showed us all these articles that have been written about this place from all over the world, along with a little comic someone drew for him. After that our group went to the sand dunes, hung out there for about an hour and then finally headed back home - long ass day. I was pretty much speant so i just hung out at home for the rest of the night. Well i think ive babbled on enough for now so hopefully i will see or speak at you guys soon. Peace out
