There are better ways to bring in the new year; more momentous, more fun, more meaningful, more intimate. But celebrating the oncoming year shirtless in an apartment full of people I don't know with a few beers in me dancing as the O Pioneers!!! count it down is a damn fine way to do it, and it feels right.
2006 was the best year of my life. The last 8 months have been spectacular. Thanks to everyone who's helped make it that way: John, Kristen, Erin, Toria, Marleigh, Joe, Rachel, Cristina, Sandra, Mary, Isaac, Cydney, and everybody else who I'm too drunk to remember. Everbody I ever talked to since I graduated has made it better and better. Thanks, guys. Thanks, all the bands that I had a blast seeing and thanks all the bands I listened to. Life is awesome. It's not often you get to feel that, but when you do, you know it's for fuckin' real. Life rules.
