Ken Gage Volume 3 (Solo Series)
Just wanted to share a sneak update on a project that's been simmering for decades now. As most of you know, when I'm not making music with Church of the 9 Candles nor hosting the Shock Waves & Shrunken Heads radio-free show (nor painting, nor writing books), I'm working on something I call my "Solo Series." Really it's only solo in the sense that it's me working independently of C9C, but it does contain creative contributions from some other artists, musically and visually. So it would be more accurate to call it the 90-Percent-Me series, I guess. (My inflated ego allowed other creatives to get their 10 percent in.)
It began with Psychic Awakenings. A darkwave and ambient trance collection of strange and hypnotic soundscapes I recorded in the 1990s and released on cassette tape and CD. Then I put out Ken Gage Volume 2: Slit Writsts & Amber Waves, also in the 1990s. Well, Volume 3 is nearly finished. When it comes out later this year, I hope even C9C fans are satisfied with the strangeness of it.
