A little over 30 years ago, I created a mixed media art piece for an art show at the Art Emporium in DeKalb, Illinois. Art, art, art! Although I had been painting in oil and acrylic for fours years while overseas in the U.S. Air Force, this was my first attempt at a commercial grade creation. The Art Emporium didn't last, unfortunately, but I held onto copies of my early works during this period. And I'm proud to say you can now get a fine art reproduction of
Moontrap from my
BrainBlister Zazzle shop that looks better than ever!
Nobody asked for one, mind you! Be that as it may, I'm trying to accelerate the availability of my arty creations from the last few decades. I've been discovering that people know almost nothing of my visual art. (My music and writings seems to have overshadowed my primary creativity.) To illuminate the abundance of it, I'm going to work harder promoting this dimension -- and in promoting my wife's art too. I mean, yes, I'm married to an artist. But she is too! And that's the missing point!
And in case you are an American local and wondered, the Art Emporium in DeKalb, Illinois, was located around where
Star Worlds Arcade is today. I still pop by there on occasion to see the old neighborhood and play my favorite arcade video game machines.
Catch you art lovers sooner or later! Your pal,
Ken
