Hola Amigos! Et Bonjour!
Quick update on C9C projects -- the sequel to Virus, Death Race 2020 is almost here! Raven Johnson is back at the drawing board creating a new album cover. (See art below for a glimpse of his design genius.) Raven also creates music of his own and has provided a scary tune called Betty on the upcoming album.
Other Church of the 9 Candles albums on the horizon include Circles, Star Citizen, Gateway, Cosmic Encounters 4 and Demon in the Mind's Eye, all featuring musicians like Pat Thomas, Tim Cooper, Joey Gage, Raven Johnson and maybe even myself.
This would be a good time to mention that Raven Johnson has been hosting the podcast Retro Retro Retro for 10 years now! Don't miss one of the most enduring podcasts on the planet dedicated to comic books, horror films, action figures, science fiction, music, wrestling, weird pop culture and underground art!
And, in fan news, C9C junkie Rosetta Parker recently wrote in to say that I should stop bad-mouthing the Church of the 9 Candles album Consumed. It is her favorite one. So I'm going to post the CD art here and try to suppress my criticism of the music on it in the future. Thanks Rosetta!
