Last time on "Days of Matthew's Lives"
(Over the PA) "Matthew call 420."
*ring*
"Hi, this is Matthew."
"Hey could you come to the back office sometime before you leave tonight?"
"Sure, not a problem. I'll clean up bargin books and be right back."
(A few minutes pass.)
"Hey what's up?"
"Matthew, if you could come inside."
*sound of door closing*
"Matthew, I have some bad news."
She pauses.
"You knew that when hired you that you were just holiday help right?"
"Yeah."
"Well now that the company is done with the holidays we have to start cutting back."
"Oh..."
"I'm so sorry Matthew."
Later that episode.
*tick tock tick tock*
"Where is the damn class!?"
A paper held in his hands reads room 106 but that is not a lecture hall. He's looking for his A+P lecture.
(Time passes he's now late for class.)
"Well I might as well go to room 106."
The class is there just on the first day. Proffessor DeSanchez gives him an evil glare.
(Fast forward to end of class.)
"Excuse me, Matthew."
Matthew turns his head to find Proffessor DeSanchez looking straight at him.
"We can't have you being late to each an every class. Last semester you gave me a promiss that it would never happen again and it happened ten more times."
Something doesn't add up in Matthew's head. He gave the promiss more than half way through the semester. There's only 20 classes total...
"Ok."
(Secondary lecture ensues.)
Then when things can't seem to get any worse!
Dad comes back!
His Lithium levels are wack!
He had to write a five hundred dollar check!
