dear old state...

Yesterday, I came home (Germantown, MD) from a great weekend in State College.  Sure there was a slight lull one morning, but nothing is ever perfect. Had great times with the dudes and the females - my friends and roommates are the shit, I love you all to death.  The only people I saw who I care to never see again are Mapes and that Banus kid.  So if you are anyone I saw this weekend who are not Mapes and Banus, I am glad I saw you and I had a blast.  Hung out at friends apartments, went to Mad Mex, graced the Waffle Shop, and ate food at other friends' places.  I missed everyone, and I can't wait to see them again real soon.

Work is going good too.  I love it there - great environment, great people, cool stuff to work on, hopefully I feel this way after 8 months.  I could see myself working there after I graduate.  Still though, I have plenty of time to hate it, so await further details on that one.  My roommate here is a toolbag and a half, but oh well.  I still miss my drums, but I guess that will always happen to me for a long time.

I hate being broke though.  Starting out always costs you a lot of money, and unfortunately I didn't get any money upfront.  So here I sit one paycheck in and still in debt up to my ears.  As soon as I get payed I can save some of it before starting the "Pay the parents back Plan" which I am sure will be a real gas.  The Cingular job would have rendered me a rich man by now, but I don't regret my choice at all.  My job rules and Cingular's sounded like asshole.

So there you go my friends.  In closing, always remember "Steelers suck, Rod Stewart rules!" ;-)  Exton boys, you're up next...
