I think I've had the most...interesting, start to a day ever.
The last thing I remember dreaming about was being back at the Chapters I went shopping at last Thursday. You know how sometimes when you dream of familiar places, but it's not exactly the same? Well this was pretty much exactly the same - so much that I thought I had actually been there even though I had no idea how I got there. All the bookshelves were right, the tables, the layout. The only weird thing was that there were no other customers in there, but I just shrugged it off. I even remember peeking at one bookshelf that had a 4 book series that seemed interesting, but I put it back recalling that I was only there to use the bathroom. So I went to the back and entered the washroom (your typical multi-stall type) and just as the door shut there was a knock at the door. Odd, I thought. Why would someone knock on a door when they could just walk through it. Then I woke up and realized someone was knocking on my apt door. Duh lol. So I jumped out of bed and rushed to the door since it was obviously the letter carrier and the only reason she'd be knocking on my door was to deliver something - in this case my EVER cds! No overpackaging this time, thank goodness.
Yeah, I'm not sure what the cards are for in the bottom picture. I'd heard about vouchers when you order both cds and can get the making-of DVD, but as far as I know I'm already confirmed to get that. I guess I'll read over the email just to be sure, and maybe contact CDJapan just to be doubly sure. I can't read the bloomin' things anyway :)
Then later my aunt called, needed me to go over and help my uncle (her brother, he's just living with her until he gets a place of his own here) get his printer working. Sometimes it kind of sucks being the only technically-inclined one in this family. So we get there...and it turned out the problem was that he hadn't plugged it in. Which he figured out before I got there. Story of my life, although I wasn't entirely surprised. That's usually how it goes with my aunt and uncle :) So we had a nice visit, and it was nice to see him more like his old self again. He was unwell, still is unwell but he's getting better. I need to leave them with a checklist of things to check before they call me, along with a nice big warning that fiddling around with things when you don't know how to fix the problem, does not help the problem! lol
Finished my entry for
arigatou_g finally. Inspiration likes to be fleeting, and visit randomly at 3am. Really though I can't complain much; some really good stuff comes at 3am ^_^
