Working Day And Night
Today is becoming what Tuesday should have been. A gigantic To-Do list that needs to be hacked away. I'm only on what I dub Part One though, which consists of a lot of cleaning house. Big projects first, fun projects later :) It's the best thing for a pick-me-up, getting things done around the house. That sense of accomplishment can serve as a good springboard to other things. As of right now I've gotten through about half the list, so I'm feeling pretty damn good :) Especially since I finally got my bookcase all straightened out:
Brownie points to whoever spots the special book on the bookcase ^_^ The top shelf are books I haven't yet read or am in the process of reading, and the second shelf are books I have read and love to re-read. Except that pile of books on the second shelf, those are borrowed books I couldn't put anywhere else. The bottom shelf are misc. books, super large books and other books that couldn't fit anywhere else. I'm not sure about the top of the bookcase just yet, it's not exactly how I want it. The statues of Bast, the picture of Isis and the vase are going to stay though. I love ancient Egypt <3
I tried getting back into writing Chasing Dreams and realized I completely lost my train of thought on chapter 4. I've been kind of fumbling through it trying to jumpstart it so I can get the ball rolling again but it's been difficult. All I remember was that what I had previously written didn't work, I italicized it so I could salvage parts of it but I have no clue what I originally had intended for Ares and Kilanya to do. Right now I'm taking them out of the club Ares just performed in, and I think I may still have them have random sex like I had intended to but we'll see. The characters dominate, not me. I'm just here to record it.
My DVD speakers stopped working. There is no reason for them to suddenly stop working. What the hell. I'm the one who set it up (being the only technologically inclined one in the house XD ) and up until now it's been working fine. Everything's plugged in the way it should be, no loose wires, nothing. I get picture but no sound. I was going to watch RRII this weekend dammit! So not happy about this...
It is snowing outside again. Lightly, but snowing. It's so beautiful ^_^
