Great week so far!

On Monday, I had a job interview for the full time position during the summer at Housing Operations. It well pretty well...considering I got the job! I'm so happy I got it because that not only means I'm staying for the summer, but it also means that I'm staying for FREE! Since I'm not taking any courses, I don't have to worry about paying for that, and also if you work for Housings, you don't have to pay for the summer to live in the dorm or an apartment. Basically the only thing I have to worry about is food, and I'll be making enough money that it won't be a problem.

On Tuesday, I had another job interview for a 3rd job, at the Spoken Language Learning Practice Lab in the NTID building. I got that one too! And my boss walked me through everything I have to do. Basically I monitor the lab, make sure no one steals the computers, and perform tasks that people from other offices may ask of me. Greet the people who come in, make sure they have an appointment. If they're walk-in, they gotta wait. Sometimes we get little projects to do for other departments. It's pretty cool, and there's more responsibility here than at my other job working at the SLC. Oh yeah, and I'm currently typing this entry here at the SLLPL lab, hehe! Great thing about this place is that it's quiet. A perfect environment to do homework! That is, if we're not busy.

So yeah. I'm going to continue this job throughout the rest of this quarter, and same goes for working at the SLC. Once Finals week comes, I have to do training for Housing Operations. Working at the SLC during Finals week is optional, so I don't have to worry about. However, I'm not sure about this place. I have to ask to find out. Once this quarter is over, I'll be working at Housing Operations for the summer, full time. I won't be working here at the SLLPL lab and the SLC after this quarter anymore. Time for a job with REAL responsibility! :-D
