ABS is good for you

Well yesterday was an eventful day, hard labor, car crashes, a ride in an ambulance, and a fun time at the hospital. It was an action packed Friday.
Yesterday started out ok, I got up and took a shower, drank some juice, and waited. Devon came over to pick me up around noon with Ian, Dan, and his little brother. We went to Wendys and played around with the salt shaker, loads of fun, and went back to Devon's house. It was the most entertaining car ride I have been in. With the itallian guy and his kissing of the $5 bill and the guy who wanted to kick our asses for throwing one of our sodas out the window. (He was so redneck) We got to Devon's house and soon after sitting down we decided to move the wood outside for Devon's deck. So how many A.D.D. kids does it take to move long heavy boards to the backyard. I don't know but do you want to spin the boards in circles? (Inertia is fun) So we took the boards to the back yard by hand and then we moved the thick huge boards until Devon brought out the trolleys. How many A.D.D. kids does it take to put wood on a trolley? I don't know but do you want to ride Dan's invention? We used the trolleys for a while until someone had the great idea to put as much wood as possible on the trolley. It worked great on the cement until we got to the grass. After all the time we put into trying to pull that thing through the muddy grass we could've probably moved it all by hand. We broke a weld on the trolley, almost blew the front rubber tires, and bent the back plastic tires to hell. So we eventually got the wood back and forth by hand and went inside after a fun day with wood and rain. We made our list for shopping and waited for Devon to pack. It took him almost half an hour but he did it. We got everything in the car and then we hit a snag. Devon's cute, sweet, easily unlikeable brother decided to reveal the existence of the paintball gun.... So we surrendered it and went on our way. We traveled for about 20 minutes listening to the sounds of the wonderful... Corpesmoke.. We drove until Devon realized he had forgotten the keys to his cabin. This is something we really could've done without. We headed back still listening to Corpesmoke until we got off at the exit. As we were nearing the red light and the cars in front of us Devon attempted to brake but due to his non-ABS car we hydroplaned at about 35-40 mph into the truck in front of us... The front of Devon's car was totaled. You could even see the imprint of the license plate from the truck in front of us on Devon's hood and the lights and fender were non existent as far as I could tell. The wheel wells were bent in and the car seems pretty much dead but we don't know yet. The truck and the car the truck hit were undamaged. Anyway, back to us in the car. We had stopped so suddenly that my neck had gone quickly forward and then back. It hurt like a bitch. Oh God did it hurt. Devon had gotten burned from the airbag, Dan had some back pain, and Ian was holding his chest but I wasn't sure what happened to him. I complained of the pain to the officer and he called a paramedic fire truck unit. The paramedics put a neck brace on me and put me on a stiff board. When the ambulance came they put me on their transport bed thingy and placed me in the ambulance for examination. I got asked a million questions and then we were off to the hospital. The hospital visit was long and boring. I got to lay in the same place for hours which wasn't fun and had a few X-Rays done. After the long drawn out periods of waiting the doctor told me I was alright and that I might have a case of whiplash. So he gave me some meds and I went to Devon's house to retrieve my belongings. We all had our laughs and I got to make a joke about Christopher Reeve ^_^;;
So that was about it. We are trying today to continue our trip though I don't know if we can save it. Devon should be coming over soon so I will take my leave of you people. Good by LJ viewers.

P.S. I will probably update this entry with more detail like I usually do.
