Need to write...
...papers. Not LJ entries, but since I seem to be having problems writing my current paper, I'll procrastinate on this for a while.
Sadly I have no major things to say. I have mainly been reading for classes, writing for classes, and stressing about not doing enough of the last two. The semester ends in a couple weeks, and then I'll be heading up to Boston for the annual Jewmas celebration. But between then and now are between 35-55 pages of writing, of which I have a rough draft of 10 done. So a ways to go.
However, LJ is not my only source of procrastination. youtube gives me all sorts of wonderful ways to not do work. Here are some of my favorite recent finds...
My friend lucylou makes wonderful animations of songs she writes and performs. She posts 'em on her lj, but I believe that it is friends only. They are up on lj under the user lucylou21. here's the latest, called supervillany:

A friend recently reminded me about a wonderful show from my childhood, You Can't Do That On Television. Turns out, a number of full episodes are up on youtube. I am amazed at how well the show has held up, and how truly subversive it is. And how cool Les Lye is, having played all of the male adult characters on the show. Each episode had a theme, among them, politics, divorce, adoption, and this one on Poverty and Unemployment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3_6rPvh94s
