A Shitty Night at TPU
Friday was suppose to be a fun day. I had planned what I was going to wear and I had told all my friends that I'd be there. Friday was the day of the school's annual Video Dance Party. Last year I was only there for 5 mintues and then I left. But this year I stayed and hung out with about 10 people. Everyone else was dancing in a big circle but me and my friends had our own circle and we weren't doing the same kind of dancing as the others being that we did not like the music, except for this odd moment when they played AC/DC.
I got to have sit down and chat with the Scottish Bloke, Calum. He is really nice and pretty cool. He was recuited to play Golf here at TPU. Wierd huh? Well anyway, I spent about an hour and a hlaf just chatting with him and a few other people and then the night started to take a bad turn. Someone ran out of the gym saying a guy just passed out. I ran in to see a guy laying on the ground completely knocked out. but the music was still going and people were still dancing. The guy did not go to our school and they only epople who knew him were the people who brought him to the party. It's belived that he was drinking that night and then he took this pill that did not mix well with the drink. No matter what they tried they could not get the guy to wke up and the ambulance was on its way. The party still went on after he left which is when it took a pretty nasty turn. A fight broke out between two people off campus and a bunch of guys on campus jumped in. The party was over after that. They told everyone to leave and people were very angry ecause some had only been inside for a few minutes and they paid their money. So in retailiation, people got together and some had parties. There was a group of people hanging outside of each hall. There was supposed to be only on RA on Duty but then they all had to be put on duty to get everyone back into their own halls and get anyone who doesn't belong here out. But there were a lot of drunk people banging on doors trying to get into the residence halls. The RA;s were going frnatic and none got to go to sleep until 3 in the morning.
I was in my friend Amber's room because my roomate JP had her boyfriend and his cousin in the room. Later my RA comes in and tells me that there are two drunk guys walking the hallway. I of course knew it was them. I refused to go back to my room until I knew they were gone. When security made it there, they couldn't find any evidence of bad behavior. They were just sitting in the room whatching tv. So they left. But when I woke up this morning I saw like 6 beer bottles behin the tv. If the RA had walked inside and saw that, they would have been escourted out but they didn't. The guys left to another hall so I cam bak in my room. Around 2 in the morning the came back and they were my room drinking and I was pretending to be a sleep. I did eventually fall asleep. I woke up at 8 to find them on there way out. JP took them to the train station and now they are gone.
That was indeed a shitty night a TPU.
