Kurt Vonnegut/Kilgore Trout deaths

Since I've been writing again recently, I've inevitably been thinking about Kurt Vonnegut.

This trivia kinda made my eyes bug out:
Kurt Vonnegut had a alter-ego that he wrote about often named Kilgore Trout. In the last book that Vonnegut ever wrote, Timequake (published a decade before his death), he wrote that Trout would die (yes, it was in future tense) at the age of 84. Vonnegut himself died at age 84.
