My Name Is Jerry - frustrated
I've been here a few days now, and I've gotten truly frustrated for the first time. Really, I've been here for hours and hours almost every single day and this has been the first time where I've gotten pissed off.
There was a behind-the-scenes piece I was editing last week and as most of you know, I lost it completely when my incompetent workmate knocked my external hard drive off the desk and destroyed all the work I had done thus far. At that point it was nearly 40 hours worth.
Today, I was working on the same piece as I have been the last few days, from scratch. Someone got on the computer I was working on, when I got up to go to the bathroom, and they opened one of their projects up. Fine, whatever, except they closed mine and didn't save the changes. And then as I was working on getting my lost time back, two people came up and needed to use the computer I was working on.
So here I am about a block away from Mitchell Place working on my radio show because it's therapeutic for me and I'm ready to explode. I can't really go far, though, because I need to get back soon to get an interview with Katelyn Carlson, because she won't be here for much longer.
I saw Catherine Hicks today. Didn't meet her, just saw her. Don Stark will be coming in on Thursday.
