A bit late, but Happy New Year, everyone. :)
I'm going to bed soon, but I just got through an awesome 4-day weekend with my girlfriend at my apartment.
I'll quickly summarize all that's new with me.
I have an associate's degree in computer science now. I also have an awesome girlfriend, a new apartment, a new laptop, and I have a shiny new van. Other than that, I'm older, wiser, and will be going to Eastern Michigan University in order to get my Bachelor's in computer networks.
I talked with an 'insider' (I'm using this term really loosely here) in the computer industry, and he was telling me that computers (referring to desktops and laptops/portables here) are going to be completely obsolete in the next ten years, and will be replaced by cellular technology. Has anyone else heard this claim before?
The 'insider' turned out to be just a guy who wanted to get me to sell this energy drink called "monavie", and basically to be part of this huge mass-marketing scam.
