Dayton, Ohayo gozaimasu
* sigh if relief * Well I'm finally awake at Dayton Public Library in Ohio. The car ride took about 22 hours; It would have taken 18 or 19 if maury and i hadn't over-slept at a rest area in Tenn... or at least i think it was Tenn. Maury drove most of the way, but I did drive long enough to listen to both Godspeed You Black Emperor cds i took along for the ride... It was just about 4am when i popped in the 1st GYBE cd on I-120 passing nothing but tall trees on both sides of us. After a couple of hours of driving, daylight was slowly approaching while I drove a passed out Maury through a thick fog. Thinking that I was about to go insane, I thought it best to stop listening to the second Godspeed album (Ininite Sybol)... That was definitely a spiritual experience that I'd advise nobody to do... ever, heh. Stayed up all night watching the sci-fi channel in our hotel while maury talked on the phone with just about everyone he knows. Well the show is tonight at a place called Elbow's, a small venue in the small town of Dayton. Oh and one more thing; The Stereo is playing w/ The Gadjits and The Rocket Summer!
