An evening at Chelsea's then 12 hr shift
The crew and I spent hours talking about politics, music, and drugs over a few drinks well into Sunday morning at Chelsea's place after our regular Saturday evening coffee and a bite to eat at Brazil. FX's birthday party, which was held at Helios, was last night but Dan and I didn't think too much of seeing Bijorn spin. Arg! That was supposed to be 1st Lost Vision show, but meh. Napoli did pretty well today. We were a few cents from breaking a record for sales on a Sunday. Which means I was drowning in a pool of sweat while working my ass off. I felt like it was worth it after seeing a full tip jar and closing without the register coming up short. Oh yeah, a little "get together" was held at Jon's new apartment to celebrate the union of Melody and Jon who are getting married on Tuesday. Maury and I showed up about an hour before people started making excuses to leave, heh. Naw, it was fun to chat with a bunch of BGI people. We didn't stay too long because Maury needed to get a few winks before work. I've been at my computer for a few hours just recording and editing a brand new demo for a solo project that I've tinkered with for a few months. I got my new condenser mic to work through my sound card! The sound quality I'd get from my old mic doesn't even compare to the new one. All right I'll spare you more music stuff.... for now, muhahahahahaha!
