I envy
There are some people who are so tuned in to other that the know the perfect gift. Birthdays, holidays or just when it's needed they are tuned in to it. I was witness to this again today and it amazes me. How can someone be so tuned in, or how can I be so tuned out? I have witnessed other who know just what to say or when to send a card and it come so natural to them. Do they know that is ability is truly a gift to have that type of understanding?
I wonder if it is realized how fragile the connection between people really is. I know that for myself I had more perception to this a few years ago then I do now. My own rhythem is off in catching expressions and cues in mood and behaviors of my friends and family then I use to be. How did I loose that? A better question is how do I get that back?
