Update #2
Two updates this week! What's left of my readers will be happy.
In the next few months, I'm going to become the crazy uncle to a nephew. I promised my sister that I'm going to teach him all the myriad ways I know to drive a mom crazy. He's going to be a Jacob.
Other news: Still no news from the condo people... which is good news. First possible 10 day period is up tomorrow.
Other condo news: Reading through the contract is scary as hell. No mention of square feet, size of locker, no listing of dimensions on the floor plan, and lots of terrifying clauses like "Plans are subject to change without notice" written on those dimensionless floorplans. That's not counting the 30 pages of what is practically all clauses protecting the builder and enabling them to pretty much do whatever they please. According to the contract, they can move my parking spot to another property! Scary, scary stuff. If the unit does get to me, first call I make is to a lawyer to review this.
