somestuff i read in the Aspen newspaper recently...
- a house just recently constructed in the area is worth 35 million dollars...
- aspen is experiencing an abnormal heat wave that is melting all the snow out here like crazy. it was so bad yesterday that they closed independence pass because of water flowing over the road...
- a local female aspenite set a record for climbing all of the "7 summits" (highest mountain on each of the 7 continents) in the shortest period of time and only 2 other women were only able to even do that...
- mountain lion steals a child's flipflop with the daddy chasing the cat away trying to get the sandal back...
anyways, i will be going back to boulder again this weekend because i have a few errands to run in the area. i may also go skiing at abasin on sunday on the way back to aspen.
