Taste the waste

Greetings, mortals. I've been quite a busy boy the past few days... so here's a breakdown of it all!

Thursday: Class at 8 AM. Great fun. I took notes while Brian slept for an hour and a half. Afterwards, I came back, put in a few hours doin the programming thing, and then my dad picked my up for a fun and food-filled weekend. We hit KFC on the way out of town. When I got back in town, my sister had the car because she is more important than me, so I just kinda kicked it and played guitar. I also broke out the old guitar that Ashley's dad gave me to fix up and I did a little research online. It's got a really nice body and a perfectly straight neck with nice inlays and the whole deal. It needs a few replacement parts, but I figure I can put on some Gibson hardware and pickups for about $300 bucks and she should sing like a $1000 guitar. Hella-sweet.

Friday, July 4: Slept all day. At about 1, I got up and took a shower. Then I watched this long ass show about the Revolution on the History channel. Don't ask me why, I just found it interesting. I like history when I'm not being graded on it by some dipshit who can't tell their foot from their asshole. After marinading for about six hours, my dad and I went out to dinner at Cobblestone Lounge. I got a chicken sandwich. Our waitress was really nice, but she had a shirt on with a picture of the US Flag, with the phrase "Seek and Destroy" printed underneath it. Jesus Christ, people. Pull your heads out of your asses. I wonder what people would have thought a few years back of a German guy wearing a shirt with a German flag and "Seek and Destroy" under it. That's the same damn message people here are sending now. Good god, most people here do not want to take over the world (except Will). People suck. After dinner, I watched TV. Fuckin' awesome.

Saturday-Sunday: Fishing. Didn't catch anything legal size. Don't wanna talk about it. It was relaxing, however.

Monday: Came back to GB and stole MY car back from the sister. I drove around and listened to the White Stripes for a while. Then I went to Amber's, and the two of us went to go see Max. That was really cool, cuz I haven't seen him in forever. But, I guess that's just part of people goin off to college, eh? Max is one of the best people around, fo sho. Just a really good guy. It's nice to catch up with old friends. I went to Buffalo Wild Wings on the way down to AA. Good chicken wings.

Today: Back to Ann Arbor. It's nice to go home to relax, but there's just something about Ann Arbor that's hard to describe. I feel comfortable here, like I belong here. In Grand Blanc, there was always a stuffy aura about everything. There was always just this weird feeling at school, or at Ziggy's, or even just in my neighborhood... it's like everyone was always competing or judging or some other obnoxious thing. (Except my friends cuz they rule.) I dunno, maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought... but I don't feel that aura down here. I just do whatever, and nobody gives me shit for it. And I don't give anyone else shit for doing their thing. Yeah.

I'm hungry from typing so much. Actually, the typing has nothing to do with it. Time for some food.

Mr. Friendly Out.
