More Evaluations
Favorite two songs at the moment: Dredge "Bug Eyes" and Depeche Mode "Precious". That Depeche Mode song is so 80s. Its nice to hear some old style coming back in an original way that still sounds interesting.
The movies: Jarhead.
I don't understand why the critics have been dismissing the film. It did what it was intending to do; entertain and tell an interesting story. The acting was very good, better than I expected actually. The characters were very convincing and I cared about each of them and what happened to them. It was not political and was better because of it.
City of God.
I have to write about this for my next film paper. The paper is about time and how it is used to portray themes in the film. By the way, it's an amazing film, one of my favorites. I highly recommend it. Seen it three times now.
