Welcome to LiveJournal and the Wonderful World of Blogging

So, I've done it. I've jumped on the band wagon and joined LiveJournal. I had been blogging a couple of weeks on MySpace (I recently jumped on that band wagon too) and I finally decided to join this thing because it seems to be much more sufficient. This seems to be my only escape from summer boredom at the moment. There has been a lot of sitting and doing nothing. Lots of television watching, and really, nothing that has been on has been that interesting at all. I mean, this afternoon I watched PTI on ESPN and was more entertained with that than anything else I've been watching. And all that show is is people arguing for thirty minutes. After that I watched Sportscenter, which covered the Phil Jackson returning to the Lakers ordeal for basically the entirety of its hour on.

This morning/afternoon I went with Brian to the Mac store to get an airport card installed in my computer so I can have wireless internet downstairs. That all went well, but then I tried to set things up and the internet won't work. There seems to be a connection to the network as both the computer upstairs that's connected to the internet and my computer downstairs share itunes. Yet when the internet is hooked through the airport extreme (the router) the internet wont work on either computer. I'm gonna try resetting the modem tonight. It is driving me nuts not having internet connection to my computer. I really have gotten myself hooked. The computer is like my new television. I rush to it when I'm bored.

This week seems to be the get things done since I'm home week. Tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut, thank God. I think I might actually get the whole thing buzzed. I've been thinking about doing that since like eighth grade. I'm ready for a change and I like the feeling of my hair when its shorter. I feel much more free, if that makes sense to you. I also have a dentist appointment on Friday morning. I'm really hoping they don't say anything about my gums because they told me to floss and like a good little kid i just let that float right through one ear and out the other.

I said this on my blog in MySpace, but I'm going to see Batman Begins tomorrow with a friend. It's gotten some good reviews so far. I have high hopes for it. Ok, once again I'm all blogged out. I'll blog soon. It seems to be the only thing that keeps me sane from this fricken boredom. -MDL
