nethack - luckstones and sokoban
Just learned something new!
If an Adventurer is carrying a luckstone in their inventory, can break a boulder in sokoban, and their luck will be maintained.
Found out by experimenting in explore mode.
Had been trying to solve sokoban as per usual, then realized I had made a mistake, making one of the levels of sokoban unsolvable without destroying a boulder.
Normally it is bad, as the Adventurer will then be given bad luck.
So, before destroying any sokoban boulders, exited sokoban, and went to obtain a luckstone in the gnome mines. Was able to find one, and add it to the Adventurer's inventory. Confirmed it was a genuine luckstone via the #attributes command.
Went back into sokoban, and used a pickaxe to destroy a single sokoban boulder. Then re-checked the Adventurer's luck via the #attributes command. Their luck was still there! Huzzah!
NOTE: I only destroyed two boulders, as that was all that was needed to get things back on track.
