1st COVID vaccine inoculation, received

(Removed DOB and MRN as they are PHI. My PHI ; ) )

Just like the handouts warned, I do feel ache-y, and the shoulder that received the shot feels ache-y.

Am not going to take any over-the-counter medicine for the discomfort, as some news articles say they might interfere with the inoculation.

...am now one-step-closer to having Contagion end. Huzzah!

EDIT 2021-01-31

Some time between midnight and 1am, I was still wide awake. I relented, and consumed one drop of my cannabis drops, as an acceptable risk of getting some sleep vs any chance of vaccine interference. The inoculation had been at 9am, so it was 15hrs later. I still had body ache, and pronounced injection site shoulder ache.

I slept fretfully. I assume I tossed-and-turned. I woke up about 7am today, feeling tired and not fully rested. The body ache has subsided. It is still present, but diminished. The injection site shoulder still aches strongly. If I stand up and hold out my arms like the capital letter T, it's uncomfortable for that shoulder.

I have had no symptoms of headache, fever, chills, or wheezing. Just the body ache and injection site shoulder ache.

Am going to take it easy today. No exercise. Just try to watch TV, surf the internet, and let my body continue to process the vaccine.

EDIT 2021-02-01

Woke up today feeling rested. My body feels "normal." Body ache is gone. Injection site shoulder ache is mostly gone / barely noticeable. Huzzah! Will resume my normal exercise routines.
