nethack - personal best, so far
Due to COVID19, been house-bound lately. And due to that, have been putting in many hours of nethack.
I just finished a personal best, so far.
I always let nethack randomly assign me a gender, race, and dungeon-eer role

The dungeon-eer was an Orc Rogue. I was able to get to The Big Room. Dispatched a few creatures in The Big Room before ascending back up through the Maze Of Menace, until I got to the Sokoban puzzle levels.
I was in Sokoban Level 5 (the third one), when I was engulfed by an Energy Vortex. I was wielding Thor's Hammer. Unfortunately using it caused self-lightning damage, and the Dungeon-eer died. I had almost finished moving all the boulders into the holes, too *rueful sigh*
The dungeon-eer had about 11k points at the time of their demise.

Since the Game seems to be discussed in three phases (Beginning, Mid-Game, Ending), I am still, even now, still only surviving in the Beginning phases.
Still need to solve all levels of Sokoban, as I haven't had a dungeon-eer solve all of them yet. Still need to survive all the levels of the Gnome Mines, too.
In the Mid-Game, there is apparently a Quest that the dungeon-eer is given. I have yet to have any of my dungeon-eers survive long enough to go on a Quest *rueful sigh*
