1998 Jeep Cherokee - center brake light bulb replacement
Use a #2 Philips screwdriver, remove the two screws that hold the red lens to the car.
Pull the red lens a few inches out of the car body. The bulb assembly is connected, and the wire only has a few inches of slack.
Turn the bulb assembly 1/4 turn, to release the bulb. The bulb is removed by just pulling it straight out.
For my car the replacement bulb is Sylvania part number 922 LL
Press the new bulb into the assembly. Then 1/4 turn to attach the assembly back to the red lens.
Put the red lens back into the car body, and reattach with the two Philips screws. Done.
