OH SNAP!
I finished it, finally. The computer case, I mean, its painted. You should really see it, because I pretty much never have people over...

This is the shop. It is messy.
This is me, I kinda look like the baddy from hostel with that mask on.
I am very happy how it turned out. You can see from the photos its nice and shiny wet. Unfortunately it still has a little orange peel texture, but really I don't care. I can see my own reflection in it, good enough. I could have sanded away more and got rid of the bumps, but I was afraid I'd scrape through to the main paint again, in which case I'd need to put another clearcoat on (and thus go buy more paint). The whole thing is nice and silky smooth. It isn't really the bright, steely look I originally wanted, but I think this color / reflectivity looks just fine. It goes especially well with the silver accents.
Oh, and I know, the CD drives look terrible. I decided not to take the time to paint them, because they will probably be replaced. Also, I think they'd look better in silver.

Now I really want to paint something else, namely a motorcycle. Something that people could actually see. I think I could really come up with a kickass paint scheme, and probably go for multiple colors and some sort of striping. Unfortunately I won't be getting a bike for a long time, since I'm only half way to the $1600 it'll take to fix my car. A bike and gear will cost somewhere in that same range, and I won't have that kind of money till...mid summer? I have no idea. I figure its more important for me to fix the car because I can drive that in the rain, and carry lots of stuff / people. Maybe I could paint a friend's bike instead.
