Well tonight I went back to the UCB Theater. It was ok. I think the second time I went there was the funniest. But it was free so it is still not bad. I am still out there hitting the streets looking for work. It is discouraging but something will break soon. It is all a part of life and the circle of death. I got some sad news the other night while waiting in line to see a movie called “Broken Flowers.” This very attractive girl told me that John Cusack is gay. I was in shock but what can you do. But the movie was good.
Well life is not meant to be easy so we deal with it. Whenever I am feeling a bit down I put on Pearl Jam’s Vs. album and I feel good. I have discover another that does the same thing the is from my mother’s generation of music. The album is Jethro Tull’s Aqualung. So that is all, I leave with lyrics to Aqualung for you all to enjoy!
Sitting on a park bench --
eyeing ittle girls with bad intent.
Snot running down his nose --
greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes.
Drying in the cold sun --
Watching as the frilly panties run.
Feeling like a dead duck --
spitting out pieces of his broken luck.
Sun streaking cold --
an old man wandering lonely.
Taking time
the only way he knows.
Leg hurting bad,
as he bends to pick a dog-end --
he goes down to the bog
and warms his feet.
Feeling alone --
the army's up the rode
salvation à la mode and
a cup of tea.
Aqualung my friend --
don't start away uneasy
you poor old sod, you see, it's only me.
Do you still remember
December's foggy freeze --
when the ice that
clings on to your beard is
screaming agony.
And you snatch your rattling last breaths
with deep-sea-diver sounds,
and the flowers bloom like
madness in the spring.
