I'm in Baltimore for the
Educause Mid-Atlantic Regional conference, for which I am on the program committee. So far, so good. Talked to
amy_pearlman for a bit, and saw some good sessions. The keynote was quite good, actually. Went out for sushi with a guy from Rutgers and one from Penn, and in a few minutes go out with
baltomick to say hi and catch up.
Tomorrow's my busy day--program committee breakfast, convening a session, and running a lunchtime roundtable. Then out to dinner with people--supposed to help along the first timers.
I got to listen to some of my new music on the way down. I'll write more later.
The hotel room has an LCD TV and has a few HD channels too. Interesting stuff. They have HD channels right next to the SD channels but the SD channels are stretched so it's hard to do a direct comparison, and you can't get into the setup menu on the TV to fix it. But it does look good, even though I'm pretty sure it's not a 1080p TV ;-).
