Sorry for my silence...
I've not spent my time away from you in idle states. Since I wrote last, I graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.A. in English, concentration of Creative Writing. This is my first post as an alumnus of the university. Also, I have been making headway in other areas of my life, applying for a number of jobs within the Memphis City School System.
I've not written about this much, but in the past few months, I have been in talks to rent a two bedroom apartment with my friend H in midtown. We received notice on Tuesday that we had gotten the place, a spacious apartment on the third floor of St. Regis. I am in the proccess of packing as i write this, taking a small break for this composition. But within a week, I'll be living accross the street from Overton Park, and with in bike-riding distance of the world of midtown. Things are good.
I also received a loan and will, in the next week or two, be purchasing a new car at roughly the same price as my old one. Once I've gotten this transportation, I'll kick into gear my search for further employment. I wanted everyone to know how things are going, so I wrote this. I hope you are all well, and I will write again soon with more details.
