Suzanne (Doctor Who) by 
such_heights: a dreamy, elegant and emotional vid about the Doctor and his relationship with the TARDIS. The vidder weaves her narrative together beautifully and it has a dreamy, stream-of-consciousness quality to it. Longing and sadness are also palpable in this vid. This is all a fancy way of saying "watch this now!".
Some Sublimer World by
valderys: In the summer of 1816, Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley and Mary Shelley lived together in Switzerland. Much has been speculated about the events of that summer, during which Mary wrote Frakenstein. This story fills in some of the gaps, skillfully alternating between Mary and Percy's POV as a romance develops between Percy and Lord Byron. Beautifully written and very true to the characters. This fic has also completely altered how I read Christabel. :P
In regards to my writing, a third chapter of my Byron/Sherlock WIP is being completed. I have discovered I have a thing for men in Regency clothing (!). This page has kept me well and truly distracted for the last fifteen minutes.
